PLAY

Fall down the rabbit hole... it is 6pm and the Hatter has murdered time- thus it is perpetual tea time... you are now stuck in the Mad Tea Party... and must find a way to escape!!

Collect a heart, diamond, club, spade and a touch of madness to retrieve the key use it to unlock the door to escape! Eat me, and drink me to fit in the door- shrink down. Enter the looking glass and the upside down world- where up is down, wrong is right, kindness is strength and anything you imagine is possible.

End with a group visualization activity- where the future is imagined- and if desired a group plan can be created and break through the glass of a game into real life. Anything is possible in the Mad Tea Party.

How do you play?

I am so glad you asked... This is the most important question of all. So important, in fact, a whole page is dedicated to it...

SPIN

Spin the spinner in the center of the board- you will land on a heart, diamond, club, spade or a number- which corresponds to a MAD card.

ANSWER

5 sets of cards- heart, diamond, spade, club and MAD cards. Each of the 4 card suits- heart, diamond, spade and club- have questions from the 4 stories.

The "MAD" cards- each are customized by the group answers- a mix of madlib style questions/challenges using prefilled answers by players and custom questions.

The person who's "unturn" it is- spins, draws the card, asks the other players a question, and chooses the most unexpected or "Mad" answer! That player keeps the card!

WINNER- It's your "Unbirthday"!

Can play cooperatively as one big group, as teams or as individual players.

The End/Escape happens when a player/team collects one of each of the card types- heart, diamond, spade, club and MAD card.

The group can now receive the key to enter the door at the base of the rabbit hole, step through the looking glass, and enter the MAD world! - where anything is possible.

Once Alice(you) escape the tea party, you are able to shrink down by finishing the "eat me" and "drink me" items to enter through the tiny door. You see the looking glass and choose to step into it, entering an upside down world- where everything is backwards,
